ServoFine F 333 is a cement-based, polymer-modified patching and skim coating compound featuring an ultra-fine grain formulation. Engineered for direct application without priming or liquid additives, it bonds reliably to a wide range of substrates including old tile, terrazzo, wood, screeds, raw concrete, and well-prepared adhesive residues.
It delivers a true featheredge finish, making it ideal for surface smoothing, as well as repairing holes, cracks, indentations, and transition areas such as thresholds or pedestals. The compound can be applied from featheredge up to 25 mm (1") in a single layer, even across larger areas.
Classified EMICODE EC 1, ServoFine F 333 offers very low emissions for improved indoor air quality.
⚠️ Not intended for use as a final wear layer or exposed surface.
Prior to application, all substrates must be carefully assessed and properly prepared in accordance with industry best practices and local standards. The quality of the surface directly impacts the performance and durability of ServoFine F 333.
Substrates must be:
- Structurally sound, free from movement, deflection, or delamination
- Clean and free of contaminants such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax, paint, sealers, curing compounds, laitance, or other bond-inhibiting materials
- Mechanically cleaned, if necessary, by grinding or sanding to ensure proper surface adhesion
- Non-porous or dense surfaces (e.g., glazed tile or terrazzo) should be lightly abraded to promote mechanical bonding
Additional Notes
- Moisture-sensitive substrates (e.g., wood, gypsum-based screeds) must be dry and stable
- Avoid application over soft, spongy, or decaying materials
- A test area is recommended over unknown or previously treated surfaces to verify adhesion and compatibility
* Substrate must be dry and free of residual moisture. For concrete or cementitious surfaces, follow industry standards such as ASTM F2170 (≤ 75% RH) or ASTM F1869 (≤ 3 lbs/1000 ft²/24 hr) unless otherwise specified.
* Substrate Conditions
Failure to properly prepare the substrate may result in bond failure, cracking, or premature system breakdown.
- Mix ServoFine F 333 with clean, cool water using a paddle mixer at a maximum speed of 600 RPM
- Blend until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved
- Apply the compound immediately using a leveling trowel, pressing firmly to fill all voids, cracks, and surface imperfections
- No minimum thickness is required - ServoFine F 333 fully cures even when applied in extremely thin layers
- Can be applied from featheredge up to 25 mm (1") in a single layer
- After approximately 20–30 minutes, the surface can be reworked or reshaped using a moist trowel to refine edges or transitions
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, strong air movement, or extreme temperatures during the curing phase to prevent premature surface skinning or cracking
- When applying over unfamiliar, treated, or questionable substrates, always perform a small test area to verify adhesion and compatibility with the existing surface and flooring system
